The workforce management
challenge at Princess Yachts

Founded in 1965 and now part of the LVMH family of luxury brands, Princess Yachts has grown from producing 20–30 boats a year to more than 200. With operations spanning six sites across Plymouth, the business needed a more modern way to manage its growing workforce.

Its previous time and attendance system, installed in the 1990s, had become slow, outdated and
difficult to use. Labour analysis could take up to a week and routine workforce management tasks were time-consuming and manual.

Princess Yachts needed a future-ready system that could:

  • Manage multiple shift patterns and payroll requirements
  • Track labour hours and boat build times
  • Provide real-time visibility into workforce data
  • Adapt quickly to the company’s processes
